A Moroccan cocktail: a tale of a rose garden in a glass

Darlings, it's hot in Marrakesh, very hot.  And there have been surprise thunder storms, whipping in the from the east and west (and oh, perhaps from the north and south, too).  We have been cooling ourselves with cocktails at the end of the day and I thought I'd share an especially pretty one, concocted by our once a year helper and maker of all fabulous things, Matt Sanchez Walker.  We make our own rose water (because we are equal parts ambitious and crazy) but it's easily purchased.

Straight from our Peacock Pavilions rose garden right to you.....

The Peacock Pavilions Rose Garden (serves 1)
37.5ml Hendricks Gin
12.5ml Martini Bianco
12.5ml Homemade Rosewater
4 Ribbons of Cucumber
Muddle cucumber in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with rose petal.
