Bamako, Mali: and a tale of Africa

I was born in Africa all those years ago, and it was perhaps destiny that I would return to it.  It's been 15 years since I've been back, living somewhere on the continent and working in more than a dozen countries. From Egypt to Rwanda, from Namibia to Tanzania, and from Morocco to Benin.

But the more I see, the more I want to see.  The more I know, the more I want to know.  Africa.   Always fascinating, endlessly troubling, forever unforgettable.

This week, I'm in Mali.  I took these pictures with my Lens Baby.

Some of my tales here:

Bamako: and a webbed tale.

Africa: and a tale of sex and poison.

Mali: and a tale of the magic string.

Mali: and a tale of the mayor who had and had some more.
